This is a well-designed safety barrier. Although all of the information provided is static, it still manages to answer most questions: where you are, what stops are coming up, how long it will take to get to a given station, what relative car will be positioned at this gate? On the very top of the railing is a Braille label that also indicates which car is arriving and the direction towards the exit.
