At Arashiyama's Iwatayama Monkey Park, it is the humans that are put inside cages at feeding time. It is a hike up the mountain, but there are some nice views. The Japanese macaque monkeys are wild, but accustomed to humans climbing up the forest paths and there is an expectation of getting fed at the building shown in the picture. It is their domain, though, which means their lack of fear does not translate into warm and fuzzy feelings for humans.
