Throughout the Port of Kobe, new gates in the tsunami barriers have been installed. The plaque on this moveable gate was dated March 2017 and indicated it provides about 1.5 meters of height. Plaques on the fixed wall nearby indicate it contributed a height of 3 meters for 130 meters in length and was finished in February of 2009.
