Looking northwest at half of the graves of the 47 Rōnin at Sengaku-ji Temple. This is a difficult location in which to obtain a photograph without capturing the faces of people who have come to pay their respects. I do not believe there are any personally identifying characteristics exposed in this particular image. Unfortunately, I do not know why folks were lined up in front of the one particular grave site on this day. The grave of their leader, Ōishi Kuranosuke Yoshio, is to the right, honored with a roof structure, so the obvious answer does not explain it.
