Looking southeast past the Otorii at low-tide towards Itsukushima Shrine. It is possible to make out all the stones that have been tossed up onto the horizontal beams of the torii (most are on the one closest to the ground) and see a hint as to how many barnacles have grown on the posts that are normally submerged.
